Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa
The Close, Closer guidebook is your must-have material for understanding the approach of the third Lisbon Architecture Triennale. With detailed content on the complete programme, which included over 300 public events, it affords a comprehensive view of both the scope and ambition of Close, Closer’s curatorial statement as a whole, but also the significance and criticality pursued by each event, individually. The guide is divided into the five poles of practice examined throughout its programme: Speculation, Intimacy, Dispersion, Agency and Pedagogy.
Designed by the London-based graphic studio Zak Group, all content was written, conceived, drawn and/or photographed by a large number of contributors from the project participants and invited guest, as well as the curatorial team composed by Beatrice Galilee, Liam Young, Mariana Pestana, José Esparza Chong Cuy and Dani Admiss.
