This book, published by Circo de Ideias in partnership with Braga 25 Portuguese Capital of Culture, and edited by Daniel Duarte Pereira and Fernando P. Ferreira (Space Transcribers), is the result of research and intervention proposed by the Forma da Vizinhança architecture and art festival. Through mapping, morphological surveys and consultations with residents and market gardeners, the festival activated eight urban contexts with architectural installations and a programme of artistic activations. The publication is organised into two volumes: FORMA and VIZINHANÇA.

The FORMA volume brings together cartographies, fieldwork documentation and a methodological and curatorial essay by Space Transcribers, as well as a critical essay by geographer Álvaro Domingues.

The VIZINHANÇA volume documents and reflects on the eight architectural installations developed by Manuel Bouzas, Parto Atelier, Patrícia da Silva, Nuno Melo Sousa, ATA Atelier, LIMIT architecture studio, RAM, and Atelier Local, as well as the artistic activations of ZABRA, Gustavo Ciríaco and Andrea Sonnberger, Frame Colectivo, A Recoletora, Soraia Gomes Teixeira, Landra, Inês Neto dos Santos, and Daniel Parnitzke. It also includes a critical essay by Lucinda Correia.
